Fails & football & faust, oh my!

In the spirit of perfect procrastination, our episode from the first of the year is finally here! Three months later! I know, you're so proud of us. We have a few updates in this one! Meagan finds out she has had a famous phrase wrong for years. Sean dishes about new adulthood in Atlanta. These updates are all over the place but, hey, so are we.

There is absolutely no structure or even a semblance of structure to this episode BUT it is full of weirdness and hilarity as always. We talk the Super Bowl fiasco, what its like paying people to stress you out and tales of the night audit working hotels.

tempranillo with a side of tangents

12/8/2018

Meagan has a love-hate relationship with technology so we play a little Back to the Future in the beginning. And it's the night before Sean moves to Atlanta! More on that in later episodes.

We reach the epitome of tangential talks in this one friends. How do you make a sidetracked sample of sassy sessions? Combine one cup body positivity, a stick of eating disorder recovery, a half cup of well-practiced word dueling and a sprinkling of Harry Potter. Bake for 1 hour and serve warm with a side of Four Loco.

Thankful for chianti

11/24/2018

It may be 7 days post-Thanksgiving but the spirit of thankfulness and the stress of the holidays is only on the upswing. So it's still relevant we promise.

We get a crazy Chianti in this one! A fancy DaVinci Chianti. And by fancy we mean a nice $10 bottle for those days when you want to be fancy but your wallet is not so fly and fancy free.

In this episode y'all, we're talking about the good, the bad and the dry turkey side of the holiday. Meagan gets free reign to talk about history. FREE REIGN! Sean strong arms a promise from Meagan to not talk about politics at dinner and to drink wine every time she wanted to say something. That turned out interesting to say the least. Plus there are tangents as always. It gets deep at the end so just prepare for that roller coaster.

Malbec and music mayhem

11/14/2018

Get ready to rock out in this one y'all! One of our favorite people (THE John Sullivan IV) joins us in this episode to talk about one of our favorite topics...music! And all the good sound things that your ears like.

*PSA: our traveling studio decided to be as grunge as your hosts' souls and as such there are a couple technical issues! We apologize in advance...but just think of it as an ode to the punk of yesteryear!*

Apparently this episode's Malbec reminds Sean and Sully of communion. Sean reveals her love for Teen Wolf and Elvis Presley. Sully offers his infinite wisdom fountain. Meagan continues to laugh at herself because, at this point, no one else is. And Chester (our friend's cat) decides to offer his opinion on HIS favorite music! Moral of the story: all music is amazing and if you like it, own it y'all! Rock on forever.

chardonnay and sharing friendship miles

We get a little crazy in this one y'all. Meagan attempts to guess the flavors of a white wine. She aims the dart at mineral tastes and cold fields and it lands on Piña Colada land with tropical feels. Obviously someone should not offer her geographical skills. Sean dives into why she is actually friends with the friends she's been friends with for half her life. A quarter life crisis I guess?

We dive into what it takes to break and make long distance friendships. Needless to say communication, honesty and a lot of humor are vital to keeping long distance friendships alive and well. Or at least entertaining enough to keep 'em around. This is a situation where we makes the mistakes so you don't have to!

ravaging through a zombie apocalypse

10/31/2018

Because its Halloween (Meagan's favorite holiday), we're talking about...ZOMBIES! Sean learns more about diseases that she never wanted to hear about. Meagan gets to talk abut her favorite brain-hijacking diseases.

And we wash it all down with a bottle of Ravage Dark Red Blend. Get it? Cause its about zombies...and they ravage the country...No? Okay cool me neither. Anyway, in this episode, we give you our favorite parts of Voodoo Fest, talk about the logistics of how a zombie apocalypse would come about, and discuss where Halloween ACTUALLY comes from. There is a lot of nerding out. Beware.

So which Halloween movies are our favorites?
Sean's is Hocus Pocus
Meagan's is A Nightmare Before Christmas
